About
“The Father called me and drew me to Jesus in September of 1988. I was born again, my sin and sins were washed as white as snow by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary, my guilt was removed and I was clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ for all eternity. The Holy Spirit dwells within me, He guides and directs all I do and say daily, He sanctifies me daily, He intercedes on my behalf to the Father and He has sealed me and will keep me faithful until Jesus returns for me. May the Father be glorified forever by the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit in and through me. Amen.”
I have been on staff as an Associate Pastor at several Baptist churches in my hometown of Chicago, Illinois. I was also on staff at a large non denominational church in my hometown as a Ministry Director and as a small group Division Leader. The Lord showed me from the very beginning how the church has failed to fulfill the Great Commission, especially in the area of discipleship. He has burdened my heart for discipleship since 1988. As I served in the church, the Lord provided me with the opportunity to earn a Certificate of Biblical Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Masters Degree in Theology from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. I began my own ministry for several years where the Lord had me focus on Biblical Counseling, Discipleship and building up the body of Christ by ministering to the leadership and congregations of smaller churches in northern Illinois. This also led to a mission trip to York, England with some Chicago area ministers to disciple the leaders and congregations of several churches in York. It also led to a mission trip to Budapest, Hungary where I was able to work with a missionary friend of mine who I had already been discipling. The Lord provided opportunity to minister to individuals, small groups and church leadership.
The Lord brought me to Knoxville, Tennessee in 2015 and prepared me personally and spiritually for a new ministry opportunity. In June of 2019 the Lord led me to start “In His Footsteps Ministries”. Knowing we are in the end of the last days, He called me to reach out to my brothers and sisters in Christ using this on-line ministry. The Lord has opened up the opportunity to serve my brothers and sisters all over the world and to edify the Body of Christ by discipling them, leading in depth Bible Studies and helping them to prepare for the Lord’s return as we are commanded to do.
Personally, I am 63 years old and married to my wife Nitza for 11 years. I have 3 adult step children. 2 of them live in Puerto Rico with their families and one lives in Florida. I have 4 grandchildren who also live in Puerto Rico. By the grace and blessing of God, I also have spiritual sons, daughters and a granddaughter that I walk with and disciple around the world.

In His Footsteps Ministries
Our Mission
The call and command of the Lord is to fulfill the Great Commission. The mission of this ministry is to disciple, teach and edify three different groups within the Bride of Christ.
1) Any Believer who desires to mature in the faith
2) Missionaries and Evangelists
3) Church staff, including small group Bible study leaders
We will accomplish our mission under the direction and equipping of the Holy Spirit. We will minister to each group through individual discipleship, group Bible Studies specific to each group and through seminars and conferences.
