Life is bitter-sweet,
Waiting till me and my Lord meet.
In His name there’s always an apostrophe,
He owns everything that includes you and me.
Oh! There’s no reason not to pause and pray,
To the God who is all worthy.
When you see a single dot,
That’s me and you;
I wonder why He’s mindful for us too.
What CT Studd said was true,
I guess you know it, do you?
“Oh! Only life ’twill soon be past,
What’s done for Christ will last.”
A sip of coffee made me realize,
Earthly desires I should never fantasize.
Living life in truth and reality,
I guess it’s best for you and me.
