In my loneliness Lord
Your presence gave me comfort
When I am in the darkness
Lord, You are with me always
When in times of sorrow
You always draw near
and remove all my fears
God how majestic you are
You showed me your mercy
How you love me
In this dark room thinking,
Not because of what I have done
But because You are the only One,
Merciful, gracious and true
Nothing can compare You.
You gave me eyes to see
What You meant for me
Amazed by your works
how You humbled Yourself
And died in the cross
In myself Lord,
I have nothing even a little to boast.
Lord I give myself to you
Use my life only for your glory
make It pure and holy
Filled me with your word
Direct me in my way
Please my Lord, stay.
Without you God,
I am drowned in sin
The punishment that deserved all men
You died on the cross
And your grace filled me within.
My wicked heart, Lord,
You replace it to yours.
I am the undeserving taker
You are the gracious donor.
I’m a dead person
But you gave yourself to me
I am now alive and free
Forever my Lord, with Thee
